I posted this one many years ago, but since then I've added the spare tires and rack, and several other details that I should have done in the first place!

A beautiful museum piece-again- Harry. Those guys had big brass ones running an exposed fuel line next to a flailing drive chain!

I'm impressed that you have a photo box big enough to get good overall shots. Wish I did-I'll have to shoot the finished shots (whenever that is!) outdoors.

Hopefully this will bring Pocherphile Rick and Frank back on board.

Now you promised; where are the Sedanca progress shots????????????????

The Fiat barely makes it. A RR wouldn't fit! :D

For some reason I keep going back to this one and keep refining it. I built it many years ago, then years later added Marvin's spare tire rack and tires, and "F-2" decals... at some point I wrapped the springs, etc. Now that I posted these photos I went back to my references and notice that I can do a lot better with the rocker arms and some other engine details. Also thinking I might want to go with white tires... maybe. The cool thing is, with this particular car and with everything so exposed, it's easy to take stuff apart and rework things (like when I added spring shackles and wrapped the springs). It disassembles (and reassembles) just like the real thing!

This one is definitely a work in progress!

BTW... if anyone out there has ever wanted to build a Pocher but wasn't sure they were up to it, this is the one to start with. No opening doors, no roll-up windows, no headlights, no fenders, no infamous Pocher wire wheels to drive you crazy, no worrying about misaligned body panels (because there is no body!), etc. This one is a breeze to build, yet still looks really good built up, despite its relative simplicity as far as the "classic" Pocher kits go. Although building the drive chains (link by link, roller by roller, exactly like real ones, only eight times smaller) is pretty intense!

And the price is right. You can find this one on ebay for around $400-500, sometimes less.

Do you think fabric spray will adhere or buy Marvin's?

Now there are 6 of them........

I have a can of (white) DupliColor interior vinyl dye spray. I used it to turn my Lindberg Model T tires white. Works perfectly on vinyl (real car interiors and model kit tires). Dries fast and doesn't rub off.

Yes, that's what I meant. I might wipe the kit tires with iso or lacquer thinner for prep.

Beautiful work. the wood grain on dash and steering wheel especially nice-and engine room additions very well done.

just missed a built one of these on e bay -looked pretty complete- final bid was 150....well theres always another one...

good to know they come apart because I would buy a built one and redo it. [more reasonable price] I still think the tires are not fat enough!
