bondo bill Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 (edited) Here's a second one that I'm working on while the '69 Chevelle is drying out. The paint here is Testors one coat lacquer. I'd like to add lace to the body and some decals from the kit. The wheels are from an AMT drag car. A chute and wheelie bar could be in the works, along with some interior alterations. DeeCee Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Will be watching this build, paint scheme sounds perfect.
THIRDGENFAN Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Your paint looks great . My sister just gave me the same kit the other day. I looked at my kit and I think if you want to build the engine with a high rise intake, you can't use the hood scoop. The scoop is used on regular intake , with 4-barrel set up. That is the way its on Smokey Convoy Chaser.
bondo bill Posted May 19, 2014 Author Posted May 19, 2014 Here's a short update. I just completed the paint and major decals, but I still need to clearcoat and add chrome foil.
tbill Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 looking good, great paint/lace/decal job, foil is really gonna make this body pop!
bondo bill Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Almost finished with this one. I have a few interior details to clean up, and then I need to fit the engine and hood together.
slusher Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Looking great Bill, I have one of these to finish...
mustang1989 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Like others have said, the paint looks first class there Bill!
