Old Buckaroo Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 Very nice I also prefer the old cabovers. Did the 5 hole budds come with the kit ? I am getting real tired of Alcoas on everything. Super sharp paint scheme on the cab.
doogie7046 Posted May 17, 2014 Posted May 17, 2014 That came out looking great. I love the paint job. My only suggestion would be to paint the 5th wheel.

Tesla Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 What a nice clean build of a real classic. Your choice of colors complements a sharp looking rig.
purepmd Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 Great color compination. Looks like it rolled off an I-H sales brochure.

BigBad Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Hey Kevin, I like the oem paint scheme and the fact that you kept the 5 hole budds out back. I remember building one of these when I was 15 or 16 years old. It was one of the best kits I had built at the time with all the parts almost falling into place! After building mostly AMT's at the time, my first Ertl kit built like a dream! I didn't need to modify anything to make it sit right! Ok, I modified the air inlet snorkel and added a second exhaust stack... I felt like a V8 needed dual exhaust... One thing comes to my mind when looking at your pictures, I seem to remember that this kit had a rear airbag suspension and yours doesn't. Maybe I'm mistaking, I guess it must have been in your kit. Nice clean build!
mistermodel Posted May 28, 2014 Author Posted May 28, 2014 thanks everyone. Robert, there was 2 issues of this kit. Yours with air suspension was the first,it also had low back seats
FLD120 Posted May 28, 2014 Posted May 28, 2014 I would love to have one of these of my own. It would be nice to see Round2 re issue it!! The ones I've seen on Evil Bay are to much, I mean come on it's just plastic not gold . Anyways Kevin, nice job on this one!
