Got this kit from Al Rich (thatz4u) in an awesome trade deal! Thanks Al! I changed it from a TC-3 Sport, to a base model TC-3 by removing the molded in rear spoiler, removing the molded in quarter window half louvers, and adding white wall tires. It's finished to simulate Nightwatch Blue, but it's a little bright in the sun. Straight enamel with Dupont 7480S clear. What a junk kit these things are. Nothing fits, everything is pretty much a guess. Man how I don't miss the '80s! It sits a tad high and the wheels should be tucked in a bit, but that would call for quite a bit of fabrication. Just a shelf model of an odd subject.

It maybe a lossy kit. But, I like it. Keep sneakin' peaks at them on eBay. But, just not willing to pay the price. Very nice job Alan.

Neat...I think that kit was only issued once. I've got one in my stash to build eventually, molded in orange IIRC.

Yep, only one issue. Molded in orange.

I had no idea a kit of that car existed! Cool! B)

I think it was same tooling that the MPC Shelby Charger came from, probably updated the tooling to the L-Body Charger spec before Shelby started playing with the real cars.

Great Job! I remember the late 70's early 80's all you could find was those kinda cars and Chevy luv's Datsun Pickups and ford currier's at the Kmarts and Longs drugs in the day

Here's the box. After this release, they changed the tail lights and it was the Dodge Omni O24. Then it became the Shelby Charger releases.
