This is a Smart car. Can't say the same about the owner.

Interesting! A co-worker had a similar thing going on with his Chevy HHR. He even added spinner hubcaps and fake antennas. I asked him if he got all that stuff from Pep Boys and he said ot since he discovered Amazon and eBay! He got two rolls of chrome pinstripe tape at a clearance and used both rolls to outline his doors and fenders.

In the olden days, it would be someone went wild with a JC Whitney catalog..

The Whitney catalogs has some things that were actually worth looking into........ I remember you could order pretty much an entire square body S10 interior, Bikini tops for Jeeps, bed covers and the like. The stuff like running boards with huge lights on them, they could have left out..........

I usually just lock the kids in the car while I grab a drink.

I'm more interested in the cigar, whiskey music bar in the back ground of the second shot. Maybe they can come back later and pick me up.

Stopped for gas at a station that shares an entrance with a VW restoration shop. There was also a VW Thing on the lot not in the photos. Looks like they might be a little behind..🤷

That was the first car I noticed when going by, I had a '70  it was originally a 6 cylinder, automatic that ended up with 283 with 10.5 to 1 mated to a Hays bronze racing clutch and a M21 Rock crusher and a corporate 10 bolt posi rear with 4.56 gears. I added a set of welded in frame connectors and a driveshaft loop for safety. It was a fun ride but the idiot driver got way to many tickets and the wife was always pitching a fit.. mine looked alot like that one, painted '72 Monte Carlo blue.

some oddities among those. the turquoise bus looks to be a late mexican bus but i'm not sure whats going on with the rear sides. the pick up looks pretty well proportioned and i suspect its an old show car. it looks very familiar

Saw this little omni GLH the other day

I would love to see a resin/3D 4 door GLH body for the Charger/Daytona kit. Not a powerhouse by 60s, or even today's standards, but still a car with some street cred in the mid 80s. I got beat by one with my 85 Mustang GT, and my 87 LX 5.0. I finally gave in and purchased one. It was not the GLHS, but an 86 GLH. It was a rocket. That was short lived when I traded it in for 87 Grand National, but it was fun.

Saw this classic Saab the other day. As well as the TGB 11 that i pass by daily. And then i saw a Sibling, (not often i come across others here in town) and my work Jeep is clearly bigger thanks to suspension lift and bigger tires.

I dig that Saab, man; out of all European cars the Saab has to be my favourite, especially the early '49 to '69s; but I may be mildly biased being of Nordic European heritage myself
