Trans Am Erik Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I want it to look like a big Hot Wheels car. The engine is a blown Boss 429 that i dug out of a junked Mustang
Trans Am Erik Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 I also cleaned up the body and added wheel flares to the rear because the wheel wells were all cut up.
1/24DragAndStreetCars Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 My grandpa had a real life drag racing pinto this looks similar to it
1/24DragAndStreetCars Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Love it sure does look ready to beat some vegas!!!!
Trans Am Erik Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 Thanks for the comments guys. Here's a mockup of the engine.
1/24DragAndStreetCars Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 You should put a Moon gas tank on the front of the chassis
Trans Am Erik Posted July 21, 2014 Author Posted July 21, 2014 You should put a Moon gas tank on the front of the chassis Great idea, i do have a couple of those. The only bad thing is a Moon tank won't hide the nut on the guide flag like a fuel cell does. I'll try to fab somthing up. I'm also up in the air as what to do about the rear spoiler. I still have the original one but it could look more aggressive. Suggestions welcomed!
DynoMight Posted July 21, 2014 Posted July 21, 2014 Maybe make it look like a Pro-street type wing.. Or maybe just make it a lip, like a cuda wing.
1/24DragAndStreetCars Posted July 22, 2014 Posted July 22, 2014 (edited) I make custom wings in signature Edited July 22, 2014 by 1/24DragAndStreetCars
Trans Am Erik Posted August 12, 2014 Author Posted August 12, 2014 I found a spoiler! It's off a widebody Vette, and turned backward. I have to fabricate the center piece because the piece off the Vette isn't long enough.
