S. Svendsen Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 I built this replica of my dad's '85 CRX Si 28 years ago for his birthday in '86. It's one of the my oldest surviving builds. I had to do a little repair work on it recently, so I cleaned it up and photographed it for my web site. You can see more pics at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/85_honda_crx_page.html
DynoMight Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Wow looks like a real car. Were CRX's ever RWD, or were they only FWD?
508boricua Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Super clean Sean! Looks like it just rolled out of the showroom floor.
o-man Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 Sweet looking CRX. Like the later model wheels on earlier car
signmike Posted July 26, 2014 Posted July 26, 2014 (edited) Sweet, it is a very clean built. My wife bought the first one sold in the Montreal area, it was an 84. They just go and pleased their driver...she drove it for 96 000 miles with it pavement and snow... I sure like this one, Cool model sir Edited July 26, 2014 by signmike
PappyD340 Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Very NICE CRX, my youngest son had one like that only it was solid red no silver!
Dominik Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 Very nice Sean. Looks perfect! we had the same with a 16valve-engine. it was leight and fast
Slomoslam Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Wow, this is terrific. My father in law collects the 1:1 Civics, he drives them everywhere and boasts about the gas mileage he got when he gets there. Anyway, back to you, super clean build, and your photography is great too.
