Many years ago my wife hit a curb and destroyed one of the fancy wheels on our 96 Grand Caravan. I found a set of 4 on eBay. I spoke with the seller in the afternoon. Got home from work the next day and they were sitting on my porch!  Fed Ex ground Maryland to New Jersey.

My wife questioned why I bought 4 when we only needed one.. I told her she had three shots left!

Spent the day in the ER with my wife , nausea , alternating chills and sweats , body aches , diarrhea and weak from not eating . Called our GP and they say don't bring in to the office ,  she might have Covid , take her to the ER . Got there at 11 , we're low priority and they were busy , finally got admitted at 2 . After all the tests and waiting , find out she has a cold , Covid negative . Home at 5:30 and she has an appetite for the first time in a week . Glad for the results , not so much the journey .

Yea! Today is Stick Day!  The town came and took my bags and barrels of sticks and leaves!

It was pleasant out the past few days as I cleaned up the property!  I had a bunch of bags in the shed already from cleaning up the pool area a few weeks ago.

You was a busy mon, Tom..

Not that in looking to sell my car, but i was perusing carvana and checked the value of my car

I bought it brand new for 18500 after discount and incentives. Sticker price was 22000 aprox.

Its 2 years old now and i have 12500 miles on it and carvana is offering to buy it ftom me for almost 20000. That is amazing to me. Obviously with the interest i paid, its probaby even with what i paid for it, however I owned and used it for 2 years. I am really tempted to sell it since i really dont need a car (12500 miles in 2 years, much of it was my wife taking it to work to give her high mileagecar a break)

Im really torn in this. I could sell it and buy a mini cooper s or maybe a chevy colorado, which are more expensive, or just sell it and bank the car payment each month until i need a car

There is a bit of a car shortage now for several reasons. If you do decide to get another car, you probably won't get a deal like this on anything right now. Your last sentence makes the most sense to me, if you can do without a car.

The Veterans group I belong to, Vietnam Veterans Gathering brought in the Traveling Vietnam Memorial Wall yesterday to Crystal Harley-Davidson.  We had the largest motorcycle escort ride with 500 - 600 bikes.  I'm somewhat sunburned and will get worse since The Wall leaves Monday.  But it's great to see it and be able to talk with many of the visitors we're already had.  I've shared others pics on my FB page https://www.facebook.com/jim.stepanek.9/

Yesterday just for grins I decided to see if I could find an affordable 2005-2009 Mustang. Checked on several different auto sale/trader sites and found NOT ONE within 50 miles of me, and only a handful of very spendy high-end models within 100 miles.

Further to my post in what irked you, a few months ago, I am pleased to announce that the local council have suspended charging for new bins. This isn't jus a benefit to me, there are hundreds of other people that now wont have to buy a new bin when the binmen damage them.

My wife told me i wasn't allowed to sell my car. Even though i rarely use it, she doesn't want me to not have one in case i do need it.

Honestly I only bought the car when I did because it was being discontinued and it was a car i always wanted. i like the car and probably would regret selling it.

When i bought it, i had a car that was only 2 years old, but i didn't want to miss out on the beetle. I managed to break even on my trade so it worked out.

Went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and saw  Vietnam Veteran with his vest and cap on. He had 15 kits in his buggy and two of each. Shook his had and thanked him for his service and my son always does with me or not. I always think of Jim when I see any Veteran. He was adding to his stash while they was 40 percent off..

Finally got my package from Big Donkey Resin. Took almost 3 weeks while it traveled half way around the world but box and contents were in good shape.

He said this has happened 4 times this year and the post office doesn't know why. Then I guess it will continue to happen.
