Brizio Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 I had some parts that I didn't know what to do, I didn't like to trash them, because for sure after I will need them. The other day I ran into a picture on the web about a car made using a dumpster. So I want o make it, I think it should be fun and also to have a break from other projects... I decided to use the postal Jeep chassis, or at least part of it. Next I add the front from another part chassis I had, and radiator from a Jeepster, the rear axle I have not idea.. Fenders from a Jeepster. Body from paper...
Wonderbread Kustomz Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 This should be really interesting.... Body looks good...
wayne swayze Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Keep it going! Don't ya' just love scratch building?? Especially when it's old mostly junk stuff!
Bill Eh? Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Fabrizio, what a great start on another eclectic adventure. When you say the body is paper, would that be some sort of card stock? What do you use to glue it together, white PVA school glue? Thanks for posting another fascinating project.
Brizio Posted August 10, 2014 Author Posted August 10, 2014 thank you all guys!!! Keep it going! Don't ya' just love scratch building?? Especially when it's old mostly junk stuff! Yes I like it! Fabrizio, what a great start on another eclectic adventure. When you say the body is paper, would that be some sort of card stock? What do you use to glue it together, white PVA school glue? Thanks for posting another fascinating project. Thank yo Bill! I call it paper, but is thin cardboard, this one is from a USP envelope, the A4 size. I use Super glue to glue all together.
MikeBoyle Posted August 10, 2014 Posted August 10, 2014 Not at all what I was expecting! Its far better!

Brizio Posted August 11, 2014 Author Posted August 11, 2014 I was able to finish the Dumpster car this early evening and take to the club meeting, but I did not have take picture yet, so I will still post the step by step one. Body ready for primer. The engine is a Dauntless 225 V6, based on the Buick and is from the Jeepster kit.
Brizio Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 The chassis is almost rolling... Body painted.
misterNNL Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 I guess if this vehicle were totaled in an acident all of the scattered parts could simply be loaded into the center of the contaner and simply be taken directly to the recycling center?
