skymnky721
Hi all,,its that time of year,,back to school,,,when I was in school,,I always wanted to go on a bus like this. Used notebook liner from the dollar store for the windows,,added a bit of wiring/plumbing. Kit went together well. Thanks for looking. unclescott58
Looks good Scott. Another old favorite of mine. I still like the behaving bad kids window inserts that came with the first and most recent issue of the kit. I work as a sub in schools. And I love my job. But, sometimes I work with kids who behave like those depicted in the inserts. And it's nice to remember that kids back in the day when Tom Daniel designed that kit, when I was in 5th or 6th grade, were perceived at times to be as bad as the kids we see today. There were bad kids in my day too. (I sometimes was one of them.) and most kids today are pretty good. Despite what you hear. Scott P.S. School starts on Tuesday. I'm can't wait. I really like working with kids. Even the perceived "bad" ones.

skymnky721
Why thanks folks,,you all have some great stuff in here as well. Yea,@ unclescott58,I was going to use the stock windows ,,but I wanted to be able to see the chassis easier when the body was down. My Mom was a school teacher for some 35+yrs,,and some of the kids she had to deal with were rather "challenging" to say the least. I was some what rowdy myself,,me and my buddy who had a home built go-kart,,and me on my Hodaka Ace 100 dirt bike would race on the HS football fields,,and baseball diamonds when school was out in the afternoons! We even got chased by the local sheriff once in a awile LOL {Im a bit mellower these days}I guess we all have to grow up at some point. I also re-did the body support rods,,due to the stock ones would have not been able to lift w/the fuel lines in the way. I dig Tom Daniels designs,,I recently also got the "Cherry Bomb" kit,,thats gonna be a fun too. Thanks all for the kind words,,keep up the great works!
