Antikainen Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 (edited) Hi. I build this one several years ago. As you can see the interior is not entirely stock. I also replaced those stock tires.. In fact, the whole frame and suspension parts came from Monogram Chevy Blazer kit... When looking at front this one looks a bit angrier than original. While side profile shows you a little bit raised ground clearance. Looking from rear... Underneath view reveals Blazer frame etc... Edited October 17, 2014 by Antikainen
Antikainen Posted October 17, 2014 Author Posted October 17, 2014 Rest of the pics tell you the whole story: Yup, that´s a fuel cap on rivers side front fender. Interior is combination of Rambler and ´66 Malibu Street Machine parts + a little bit of Revell ´68 Dart and Monogram Blazer here and there. Thanks for looking!
Dare1 Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 I've never seen some "4x4" a model car before, and I love it!
peekay Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Maybe not quite the sort of treatment I would give a Rambler, but extremely well done - paint and foil are perfect.
bbowser Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 What have you done?! Seriously that's cool. Very original concept and great execution.
Erik Smith Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 Cool. Nice work. I see a few of these frankenstein creations rolling around our area - there is Jaguar on a Blazer chassis I believe.
hobbybobby Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 Great idea and very well built, i like it!
crazyjim Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 A 4 x 4 Rambler? What's next? Very interesting build.
