bogger44 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 (edited) Killer build Aaron! Paint, detail, stance, there isn't anything not to love about it. Edited November 18, 2014 by bogger44
Flatout Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Beautiful work, just enough detail to look very believable!
Pro Tech Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Great job Aaron, this is one of my favorites of his stable of F/C's back in the day. Charlie Pro Tech
AZ Boy Posted November 18, 2014 Author Posted November 18, 2014 Thanks guys. Charlie, your braided lines are the best!
Fun_E_Car Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Totally sweet! I love when guys put the extra detail to get the stance and look perfect. Fantastic job! --Dave
10thumbs Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Hi Aaron, beautiful build! Did you change the chassis up front because of your scratch built front end, or to lower the car? The stance is really great. Michael
AZ Boy Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Thanks again, gentlemen! Michael, I scratchbuilt the independant front suspension to more closely resemble Don's real car. I don't think it had any influence on the overall stance, but I did use 1320Wayne's method of lowering the rear (chopping the roll cage, moving the rear end mounts higher on the chassis and modifying the rear body mount in the same manner). I actually have more clearance to lower the body further, but the real car had a rake to it, and I didn't feel the need to readjust it. Thanks for your question and comment!
OldTimer50707 Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Aaron, you did a magnificent job on this.
