Mopar - D Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Tom anything I maybe able to help you out with?
tbill Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 Dan, what I want to do is make one of the decals out of the Camaro kits larger, and put it on the cab doors, it's basically a round decal with an M and a P in the middle, and says motion performance around the outside. I was fooling with it tonight, but the program my daughter put on my pc is smarter than me [lol], and then I found out I am out of half the color cartridges of ink in my printer, thus my standstill......
Mopar - D Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Tom yea I know what you mean about having new software added buy you daughter my son does mine and I have to figure out how it works too.
slusher Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Man Tom, i like the look of those camaros loaded on the trailer. looking forward to seeing the Titan hooked up... Really hope you get your decals worked out..
tbill Posted April 21, 2015 Author Posted April 21, 2015 chipping away........ few more bits and parts and the chassis will be done.
Petetrucker07 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Looks great Tom. Hope you can get the decal issue taken care of soon.
Mopar - D Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Looking good Tom can't wait to see this completed.
guitarsam326 Posted April 21, 2015 Posted April 21, 2015 Lookin good! I always had a soft spot for a white chassis!
tbill Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 should have some new stuff to post soon , Dennis [Tesla] has made my decal dream come true, he has been kind enough to make me what I needed/wanted for this project [they look sweet by the way], and as soon as I get them in my hot little hands, I can finish off the cab and get this project in the done column stay tuned, the end is near for this.........
Petetrucker07 Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Can't wait Tom. I'm sure this will be every bow tie lovers dream when it's done.
gatorincebu Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Tom, it looks like you are moving right along on this. I like what I see you doing here. Be Well Gator
Mopar - D Posted May 1, 2015 Posted May 1, 2015 Tom that's great news on the decals. Looking forward to see your progress.
tbill Posted May 9, 2015 Author Posted May 9, 2015 the saga continues Dennis had mailed the decals to me, but the post office deemed it necessary to keep them on a shelf for a few extra days before actually sending them on their way, but they showed up this morning so, I put a couple of them on the cab, and a couple on the mud flaps. in a day or two I will apply the final coat of clear on the cab, and can start to detail the rest of that and get this build back on track what do ya think? again, big thanks to Dennis for helping me out on this, it was the puzzle piece I needed to pull off the look I wanted.
tbill Posted May 10, 2015 Author Posted May 10, 2015 thanks all got a bit more done today on the cab. did some BMF and used black chrome BMF for the first time around the windshield frame, thought I would try it rather than trying to paint it black. I also thought that as I am using the sleeper 'curtain', it might as well have some custom embroidery on it, test fit in the cab, so that's where I am at, as I have passed the 6 month mark for this adventure, I figure a few more weeks won't hurt, lol. stay tuned, and thanks for watching.................
Petetrucker07 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 BMF looks great. That's how I was gonna start doin the windshield frames, just haven't gotten around to buy in any. It's coming along nicely. Lookin forward to more.
Goodwrench3 Posted May 10, 2015 Posted May 10, 2015 SOLD !! I can see that's probably the way to go for me too !
Mopar - D Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Tom keep up the great work your close to the finish and your the man to bring it in as a winner.
Superpeterbilt Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Looking good Tom. If I haven't said it before, Love the white frame! Dennis did a great job on the decals. These car haulers full of cars are an epic build. If I can manage to get the race car hauler built with a car on it, it'll be an accomplishment!
gatorincebu Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Tom, Your Black BMF looks really good on the windshield rubber. Looks like I may have to try to get some of that over here. I kinda figured the decals would look good. Dennis did a bunch for me . I have yet to use any of them however. Your decals look good! be Well Gator
