guybrush Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) hi folks... this is my interpretation of Revell´s `70 Chevelle SS. have fun with the pics: greetings maik Edited January 7, 2015 by guybrush
stitchdup Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Cool car, You've done a good job on the weathering
hedotwo Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Great weathering!! Very, very realistic. Does Guybrush refer to Guybrush Threepwood?
Snake45 Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 I'm not a fan of junkers or beaters but for some reason I like this one!
Ace-Garageguy Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Wow. Incredibly realistic. Couple of those shots are almost indistinguishable from the real thing. Great work.
Tom Geiger Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 That's Cool! I like it! Back in the day a friend of mine had one that yours reminds me of. It was the same blue, but a lighter blue top like your door color. About the same battle scars, and maybe 200 lbs of garbage in the back seat!
TFchronos Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 (edited) Amazing weathering work! If it weren't for the goodies sticking out of the hood it'd be a killer sleeper. Beautiful job on it! Edited January 7, 2015 by TFchronos
guybrush Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 thanks too all for the compliments... Does Guybrush refer to Guybrush Threepwood? yeah i like the mighty pirate... greetings maik
1 bad55 stan Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 That is so cool.Very good work and that engine looks sweet.
MeatMan Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 OMG! Other than the blower sticking out of the hood you almost replicated the 1:1 SS 454 I brought back with me from the Army back in '78! I love it!!
Prince Ital Mike Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Cool build, that weathering is great!!!
DeeCee Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 That is a might fine effort on that weathering mate.
drive4th Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 fantastic. always been a fan of the 70 chevelle and this weather strangely brings out its true form. still looks tough even rusty and faded, well done!
Belugawrx Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 My girlfriend at the time, had that car (less the intake), sitting in her backyard with 5 ducks, 2 geese, 4 cats, and two dogs living in it and around it in Hamilton AAahh the good old days Looks awesome Cheers
