slusher Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Very sharp and cool build Iceman. Great job on this one...
TooOld Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Ooooooooo that's nice ! I never would have thought of a '39 Chevy being cool , but you nailed it !
horsepower Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Nice '39, I really like the interior, but just one of my pet peeves about these kits is people think they're like Fords of the same era, they don't have any chrome on the side's of the body, just the sides of the hood along the louvers. Thanks for letting us see your build
IceMan Collections Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 (edited) Thanks everyone. I really appreciate you taking the time to comment. Horsepower - a pet peeve huh? Wow. You must see this pretty often for it to annoy you so much. I'm sure you noticed that this was not build to replicate the 39 from factory choices. The same thought crossed my mind when I was building it but as I looked at more and more pictures for inspiration, I found enough to see that it is a 1:1 possibility and I went with it. I love the way it looks. Maybe your reaction is more based on the thickness of it. Here's the pic that convinced me to do it. Edited January 8, 2015 by iceman-555
Harry P. Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Oh yeah, that's a beauty! Nicely done on all counts. Very sharp model.

bbowser Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Great to see this kit looking so fine! (It doesn't always.) The sunvisor and spats are just right for this car. X2. Where did you get that hood ornament?
6bblbird Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 My initial reaction when seeing the photos was " ooooooooooh! ". Very well done! WF
IceMan Collections Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Thank you everyone. Yours words mean a lot. Bruce, the hood ornament came from the same 39 sedan delivery I took the hood from. I believe it's the lowrider kit.
