Lightbox and Lights..

Hi guys,

I'd like to take better pics of the things I post here.

Can you show me your light box? The simpler the better. Also, what lights do you use?

I'd like to make a better DIY setup.

Anyone?

I have used white "poster board" to build a paper sides,back, and floor for the model to sit on. Set this up on a folding table and used a couple of floor lamps on either side to shine down on the model. Its crude but didn't cost much and seemed to work well.

It's pretty simple. I use a white tri-fold

"project" board that kids use to do displays for school(Walmart). You can get a few large sheets of colored paper at the art supply store (Hobby Lobby or Michael's). A couple of big box store clamp on reflector bulbs and you're in business! Here are a few pictures taken with this setup.

I just tape up a couple of sheets of white paper behind the model and position my magnifier lamp to provide light where I want it

i cant take credit for this but find an old white roll up shade. bolt it somewhere on or by your bench. roll it down and takes your picturs. when done, roll it back up. stays out of the way till you need it.
