realgone58 Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Quick clean and detail on a promo Dodge Ram. I added the black trim around the windows, black washed the grille and wheels, added thin white walls to the tires (from vinylnation.com) and added the black trim around the tail lights. Looks much more realistic now. Still need to find a set of mirrors from a kit for it.
Belugawrx Posted February 5, 2015 Posted February 5, 2015 Very nice Alan ! Looks very close to real Cheers
maxwell48098 Posted February 8, 2015 Posted February 8, 2015 Looks great. All it needs is a set of the exterior rear view mirrors fom Modelhaus. A.J.
Chuck Most Posted February 9, 2015 Posted February 9, 2015 Very nice! If the clearcoat were peeling off the fenders and roof it would be small-scale twin of my neighbor's '97- narrow whitewall tires and all.
mk11 Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Those whitewalls finish it beautifully. Where did you get them? That vinylnation thing only gets a link to goofy figurines... mike
zaina Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 Looks good. I used a set of mid 90's ford flare side mirrors with a little modification on my dually. They look pretty close to stock dodge mirrors.
Nick W. Posted February 10, 2015 Posted February 10, 2015 You could use the mirrors from the amt/mpc Chevrolet C1500 kits!

peekay Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 You improved the model greatly - will do this to mine, too!
Scalper Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 Cool.. I have this same kit.. you did a nice job.
mikemopar70 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Very nice little Dodge!! And a very clean build!
