BubbaBrown Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Did they ever make a kit of a deuce and a half from thar era ? All I can find is WWII. TIA
Agent G Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 AFV Club produced a series of kits based on a modern 5ton. I don't recall a deuce and a half, but I'd start with them. G
Agent G Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 They do kit # 35004 which is an ODS era deuce. Not sure where to find one though as it appears to be in short supply. Like everything else military it's 1/35 scale. G
Snake45 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) Didn't Monogram do one in 1/32, going back to the '50s? I think it's been reissued from time to time since then, along with some other kits of that series, but I'm not 100% sure. Here it is: Edited February 22, 2015 by Snake45
Agent G Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 I believe the Monogram version depicted the base truck before the dual rear wheel upgrades from the early 60's. It was a slow night so I surfed the web and found the AFV Club kit is long OOP and couldn't find any listed for sale. I did find that Academy has two versions based on the M35 used by the Koreans. These could/should be relatively easy to finish as US trucks. G
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 My personal favorite of that era 6X6 truck...I think this was built from a 1/35 Italeri kit.
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 (edited) I'm confused. The OP is asking about the availability of a specific truck in kit form. Please help me understand why this rates as "off topic". Edited February 22, 2015 by Ace-Garageguy
