martinfan5 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Whats there to say about this one, its a boring station wagon
hgbben Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 A boring station wagon that i'd like to have in my driveway
wayne swayze Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 A good looking import longroof...steering wheel location options?
Atmobil Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Really nice, I don't think we did get the Accord wagon here in Norway but it looks very nice and I think it's ashame that we did not get it.
o-man Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 I like it. Simple and clean just like most of your builds
DumpyDan Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Nice, I have one of these, turned out well
dino246gt Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Wow, nicely done, I was just looking at my unbuilt kit of that yesterday and thought, who would ever build that, but it does look cool built, nice!
christian-w Posted February 27, 2015 Posted February 27, 2015 (edited) boring? No way! The Accord Wagon (or Aerodeck - like it's called in Germany) was the best looking Wagon on earth I love the lines and the reliability. I drove one about 11 years and if it hadn't broke down I would drive it this day further one. Your built looks pretty. I like it. I like the color. To answer some questions of the audience This model kit is from Aoshima (kit #02773-2400) ---> see box / rims or the first release #019344 ... there are two other /stock!) kits of it but only this kit has those rims. My Wagon was the same #017470-1300 #017944-1300 ....and some tuned versions. Because I owned this car and I'm a Hondalover, I have bought a lot of those kits. Three are built so far but only, when I own the kit twice. One kit built, one kit in the stash. If I'm allowd to post my car: Edited February 27, 2015 by christian-w
Modelmikey Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 Cool build, I love seeing different/odd ball kits. I still putt putt around in a '96 accord, not a wagon tho. I don't remeber that last time I saw one, I think they were pretty rare here compared to the 2/4dr's.
Brudda Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 The quality of your build is not boring at all. Very nice!
Helix Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Looks good Jonathon, my daily driver is a boring Subaru Wagon....
darthsideous Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 Nice to see a build of a regular daily driver. Great build up to boot
Stray Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 I'm waiting for the unveiling of the blown Hemi that you have mid-mounted in that sleeper...
christian-w Posted March 10, 2015 Posted March 10, 2015 @Lee / midnightprowler .... All the Aoshima kit of the Accord Wagon are curbside. Sadly
charlie8575 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I don't do Hondas, broadly speaking, but I actually wouldn't object too loudly to an Accord wagon- from what I remember of a few people that had them, they were nice little cars. Can that be built LHD? Charlie Larkin

Can that be built LHD? Charlie Larkin If you can find one from the mid 90s when American SATCO was Aoshima's distributor they punished their kit with a pound lump of resin that in the right moonlight with sufficient alcohol intake could be considered to resemble a LHD dash from 500 feet. Of course you don't get the other pesky stuff like LHD console/shifter or LHD wipers either. Edited March 14, 2015 by niteowl7710
christian-w Posted March 16, 2015 Posted March 16, 2015 Unfortunately the Aoshima kits are RHD. At least I can only speak for the kits I own
